and i heard this very answer from an expert that comes on a show on sharjah tv on thursdays -very good show-. he said exactly what morbid said, if the kid starts to be picky about food and never listens to what the mommy says, he/she should be banned from that meal for several hrs until he/she really starves and ASKS for food, and you should NOT give him/her any, until its the other's meal time. ya3ni u dont ruin ur meals schedul no matter what, she should wait lal 3asha.

i SOOOOO detest comparing and feeding the competitive streak in a kid, its best to teach them that they have chores/tasks/responsibilities la2anno they do, mish la2an someone else can do it and they shud be better at it than the others..
